Q. What is your biggest concern regarding investors in Seismic?
A. We spend a lot of time and money validating who is investing in Seismic, and our broker-dealer is very cautious. We haven’t had to turn any investors away. We designed Seismic from the beginning to accommodate smaller investors, with a minimum investment of $1,000. It wouldn’t really be worth laundering money a thousand dollars at a time, and even for our million dollar or ten million dollar investors, if their intention was criminal, they would not get through our KYC and AML checks.
Q. Isn’t this all very expensive? Is it worth it?
A. It is expensive, and it’s something that we have to do. It’s also to everyone’s benefit when we protect the company and its investors.
